I have oriental eyes, any tips on make-up?

You never see any tips for the oriental look. I dont want to look like a Geisha girl either. How should I use eye shadow? What colours suit? Any tips would be appreciated, especially from other oriental people.I have oriental eyes, any tips on make-up?

be natural and true to your native, plus its a turn on!!
I suggested pale greens and very light brown eyeliner. seriously, anything is fine. it dosent make too much difference.
Hello!

I once had my face made up by a make-up artist. She used stone red, moss green and slight yellow for eyeshadow. Looks surprisingly good.

Also, never use purple or yellow. It makes your skin look sallow.

Orange for friendly lips, the traditional fiery red always looks good on us.

We're beautiful girls.
No need. you are beautiful. x

Here's an update: We don't call ourselves oriental anymore. The orient is a place, and oriental is an adjective applied to objects.

Anyways try a thin line of black gel eyeliner only on the top lid. Then use a shimmery light eyeshadow on the inner corners and bottom lash line. This way it's not like you're trying to change your eye shape, but your eyes look way brighter. Also curl your lashes to the maximum and use black mascara.

For eyeshadows, try to keep darker colors near the lash line. Most people with ';occidental'; or ';caucasian'; eyes can put dark colors in their crease, but since yours isn't so pronounced, it looks better to keep them by the lashes. Then shade upwards with a lighter color, or keep the lighter colors on the inner eye to accentuate the almond shape.
