Anyone girls get rashes around the mouth from make up?

I my skin became irritated from wearing make up and now I have this red swollen patch of skin by the corners of my mouth and chin. It's very itchy and there is pus coming out. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and if so how did you treat it?Anyone girls get rashes around the mouth from make up?
Could be either an allergic reaction to the makeup or possibly bacteria in the makeup.


How old was the makeup? Did you take actions to prevent it from getting contaminated with bacteria (like never putting anything in the bottle or not putting your fingers on the top)?


I would throw the makeup away and keep the area very clean until it heals. If it doesn't seem to be healing after a couple days or so, get an appointment to the Doctor.


Since you don't think it really was the makeup, you could give it another chance, but keep in mind that companies change things all the time, and also, sudden allergies do happen.Anyone girls get rashes around the mouth from make up?

Next time, becareful with makeup and keep bacteria out. Use a fresh q-tip to make a smear you can work from.


Shaving opens up pores so if you can't wait between shaving and applying, splash your face with cold water to close those pores up. Report Abuse

well get som blistex and abreva and return the make up because it is no good. I hope you don't have Herpes. If you do then you could probably sue the make up comapny because that shouldn't happen at all. Use the Abreava and in between use the blistex. You should prolly go see a doctor or a dermatologist as well.
simply stop applying the makeup which u think that it gave u the rash,as it contains an allergen.


to know that allergen u should have a skin allergy test to identify it at a clinic,to avoid any products containing that substance.
