What's a good make-up routine for a teen girl?

i'm almost 14 and i don't wear any make-up. i only wear chapstick with spf and sometimes lips gloss.

what kind of make-up should i wear?

what about washing my face and all that stuff?

any products you recomend that are from a drugstore?

answer all my questions and you might get best answer!! %26lt;3What's a good make-up routine for a teen girl?
I'm 14 too so I can totally help you out with that! It depends on your type of skin. Do you have acne? Is your skin oily? Is your skin dry? If any of these apply to you, you should probably go see a dermatologist. If you have normal skin, then this is what I recommend:

SKIN CARE:

Wash your face with a cleanser in the morning when you first get up (if I take a shower I'll use a scrub in the shower). If you want, you can use a toner. I have some but I don't usually use it. Don't use a toner in the winter, or use an alcohol-free toner. Also, use an oil-free make-up remover. I use Neutrogena Oil-Free Make-Up Remover which you can get at drugstores. Then use a moisturizer after you wash your face and apply the toner (if you do). Try to use a moisurizer that has an SPF in the morning just incase of sun exposure. It doesn't matter if it has an SPF when you put it on at night. It doesn't exactly have to be from a department store, but that helps. I use the Clean %26amp; Clear line. That works pretty well. If you get zits occasionally around your period, dab a dot of toothpaste right on top of it. I've also heard Visine takes out the redness. Also, about two or three times per week (or whenever you take a shower) it's good to use a scrub. I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub. It's gentle enough to use everyday.

MAKE-UP:

I guess you can use some from the store, but my mom works at a department store so I have stuff from there. Here's one simple rule though: Less is more. To school, I usually use a cream-colored eye shadow, mascara, blush or bronzer on the apples of my cheeks, and that's about it. For special occasions I'll put a little bit of tinted moisturizer on the places that I need it, and maybe a little bit of eyeliner. It really depends on what you like; I don't really like a lot of make up, just a very natural look. The Bobbi Brown line at department stores has very natural looks. I know if you walk into a Nordstrom store (if you have one near you) and talk about everyday make-up they will show you what looks good on you and it's all good for your skin and won't clog your pores. Yes it is expensive, but it's all worth it. If you have a zit, DON'T USE CONCEALER! It will make it worse!! Take some foundation and put it over that. That will make it disappear.

Also, just remember:

Maybe you don't need to wear make-up. Sure, if you have a zit and you want to cover it up or you've been feeling sick and you want to add a little color to your cheeks, thats fine. But so many people will notice what you hilight with what products you use. If you have really pretty eyes, make that the focus. If you have nice lips or a great smile, make that the focus.

Hope this helps, and if you need anything else don't hesitate to e-mail!What's a good make-up routine for a teen girl?
1. Wear a quality base - like Clinique is excellent for young skin.

2. Washing your face at night and at least wipe it with warm water in the morning. Keep a clean pillowcase and keep your hands off your face.

3. Cover Girl makeup is good, so is Almay. You are so young the less you wear the better you will look - fresh. Seriously.

4. I answered all your questions - but only you can implement the suggestions! Good luck.
For some really good free advice, check out avon.com. If you can't find an AVON representative in your area, ask your Mother, Aunt, Grandma, or Big Sister. You may not need make-up, just skin care. Something to protect your skin from; insect bites, the sun, drying, ect.

To answer your questions; a) Water based make-up. It won't clog your pores as bad. Try putting a clear pimple cream under your make-up if you are prone to outbreaks. b) Wash your face with a gentle cleanser whenever it starts to feel ';oily'; c) I don't recommend any products from a drugstore, you don't know what is in them, or if they were tested on animals. I hope this helps, and have a blessed day!
Just wash face good with liquid dial antibacterial soap, foam up rinse with hot and then cold water, then apply aloe vera

to your face.

Then put some foundation on and use lipstick on lip and a little on cheek.

Use mascara to make lashes longer, (black waterproof is the best)
helloooo! i love helping people with makeup.!

1. since you just started, you should probably keep it simple with some foundation, maybe blush, neutral eyeshadow, and some brown mascara. add a tinted lip gloss or lip balm. chapstick is fine.

2. make sure all of your makeup is off before you go to bed, your pores could clog up and cause more acne than youve ever had.

3.i use a lot of maybeline/ almay /revlon, nothing too expensive.

some things i might reccomend...VVV

the eyeglide eyeshadow in champagne (color) from revlon

revlon black eyeliner

Bonne Bell VitaGloss2O in simply strawberry

CoverGirl Queen Collection Eyeshadow Quads Q240 Lion Queen

i really love how pink's makeup looks in that picture. she makes her eyes look really dramatic and everything else is very simple.

good luck with your makeup and anything here can be found at cvs.

get things that coordinate with your eye color
i would use neutrogena glow sheers, they're super light but even out skin tone and give a nice sheen
Well since you just starting to wear make-up some bronzer, eyeshadow and mascara should be good maybe some eyeliner.

And you want to be sure to wash all you make-up everyday before you go to bed b/c if it is left on it can cause pimples.

I really like Covergirl mineral powders. They have foundation, blush and bronzer. It gives you face a ';glow'; that is really pretty!

Hope that helps!
hi, first off let me just tell you I'm a 13 year old girl. well first off my favorite kind of makeup is clinique. its nice and light and you dont look to ';done'; for a daytime look. to wash my face i always use cliniques 3 step skincare system.(you can look at all of this stuff on http://www.clinique.com/ . i used to ocaninasly break out but since using the 3 step skincare system 2 times a day my face has stayed clear. drugstore products that i would recomend would be biore.http://biore.com/. i LOVE there oil bloting sheets. i also like olay. olay stuff is a little pricy for drugstore stuff but it just as good as the department store stuff. i love bigelow lip gloss and balm. http://www.bigelowchemists.com/product_i鈥?/a> . well i hope this really helped! :)
You should probably start out with a some what cheap make up just till you get the hang of putting on make up, because you will get mad if you waste make up that you spent almost $10 on.

Wash you face about twice a day. Once in the morning before you apply the makeup and once in the evening before you go to bed.

When i first started using make up i used Wet%26amp;Wild and i got it at wal*mart. It usualy runs between $1.00-$3.00 a product. And to wash your face i would recomend Clean and Clear.

Hope this helps and good luck!
just dont do anything!!! ur lucky that u have clear skin, so just wear a tinted moiturizer with spf 30 or something, coz honestly, its all ur gonna need!!! follow up with concealer (maybe that should go first!) under the eyes and blush for a rosy glow. next try some tinted lipbalm with spf 15 and ur set.

If you don't wear makeup, you don't have to pile it on. Wear what you feel comfortable with.

If you have oily skin, or want to cover up some shine, try Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder. Or anything from Clinique or MAC.

If you don't have breakouts, don't wear anything on your skin.

If you want to add colour to your face, try these blushes:

Maybelline Dream Mousse blush (use the light pink colours, or the bronze one. Apply with fingers, lightly!)

Try wearing a bit of mascara, to bring out your eyes.

Maybelline Great Lash

L'oreal Voluminous

L'oreal Lash Out

Maybelline Lash Discovery

Cover Girl Lash Exact

Cover Girl Volume Exact

Play around with nail polish. And here are some perfumes you might like:

Escada Rio

CK IN2U

anything by Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, or Victoria's Secret Pink

As for washing your face, good cleansers and products you can get from the drugstore.

These are good lines:

Biore

Oil of Olay

Neutrogena

Aveeno

Garnier

Clean and Clear

Noxema

Use a light moisteriser with spf 15 or higher.

A good skin care book is Leslie Baumann's Skin Type Solutions, because it's very thorough.

Oh, and for makeup ideas, and instructions, check out magazines like Allure, Seventeen, Cosmo Girl!

Hope I helped!
I'm sure ';sunflare63'; meant well, but absolutely, positively, DO NOT use antibacterial soap on your face!

You have 14 year old skin and it's really good that you're looking to take care of it now. It's never too early to begin a beauty regimin.

MAKE-UP: The kind of make up you should wear is minimal. You should wear a light coat of mascara on your lashes, a little dusting of bronzing powder or a sun-kissed color on the apples of your cheeks and then your lip gloss or a pale shade of lipstick.

SKIN CARE: First off, try to always stick to tried and true products like Neutrogena, Cetaphyl, Aveeno, etc. These products will be gentle on your skin and give you the results you're looking for. You do not need to go to a fancy department store for the best skin care....the products I mentioned will be available at your local drugstore for a fraction of the price.

YOUR ROUTINE: this is the routine you should follow (or something close to it). When you shower in the morning don't let the water on your face get too hot. Lukewarm water is the best temperature for your skin. Pat your face dry. Put on a moisturizer with an SPF of 15 or higher (this will keep your skin looking younger as you get older).

Before you go to bed in the evening, wash your make-up and daily buildup off with face wash...pat dry....evening moisturizer (no sunscreen).

Any product I mention like face wash, moisturizer, etc...I am referring to the Neutrogena, Cetaphyl, Aveeno, etc.

It's a simple routine...stick to it...it will become a habit. : )

Steps to becoming a make up artist?

I do my friend's all the time (Guys included), they say i do a really good job, and that i have a talent for making it look like their natural face and not just some mask

But i would like to know how to make my talent a way to get some extra money

I've heard that i could start out from my local MAC store or something like that, but what would you recommend?Steps to becoming a make up artist?
You really should go to a school if you seriously want to do this for your career. There are a ton of different schools out there, it just depends on where you live. If you just want to do this as a part-time thing and not a career you could try to get a job at a cosmetics counter at your local department store. It's easier to get a job at some of the smaller lines than it is for MAC. I got a job working for a Chanel counter years ago and they give you basic training on their products and then refresher training every so often when new products come out. You usually get free products when you work for a cosmetics company, too.Steps to becoming a make up artist?
Cosmetology school is a MUST, no matter how much natural talent you have!

But in the meantime, you can get started at a local department stores makeup counter... Just go in, and apply for some jobs!
no idea, but its a good career. start by looking it up online, u will find ways to get started.

Ladies: How long does it take for you to put on your make-up?

about 7 minutes

bbbbLadies: How long does it take for you to put on your make-up?
It depends how well I do it - I can do it in three minutes if I just whack it on, but if I really take care it takes about 15-20 minutes because I use the right brushes and spend ages on my base - I'm not a Jodie Marsh - I just like to get it right. If you get it right it shouldn't look like you're wearing any foundation or much other make-up.Ladies: How long does it take for you to put on your make-up?
Not long at all, a max of 5 minutes, i very seldom wear make up, but i just wear foundation eyeshadow and mascara.

Best of it is, it is a natural look i have when i wear make up, but my eyes look nicer with the mascara.

It takes me about 10 minutes to apply foundation, blush, curl my eyelashes, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner, lipliner, and lipgloss. I can do it faster if I have to!
Day-to-day makeup 20 minutes. It used to be way longer, but I have kids now.

Special makeup (wedding, dinner out, etc) an hour or more.

In doing make up I include moisturizing, eyebrows, etc.

How to change your make up, help?

I want new ideas on how to do my eye make up. I am not keen on the natural look because my eyes look small and boring. I like smokey eyes and long eyelashes. Currently i wear eyeliner both liquid and pencil and mascara, But i think its quite hard (often smudges and looks worse!) and want something softer. Where can i find tips on how to smudge eyeliner/eyeshadow and what is a good lengthening curling mascara that doesnt clump? How to change your make up, help?
Okay, what I do with my makeup is using bare minerals physicians formula, and a good curling mascara is anything from cover girl.

And to smude eyeliner, put it on in a back and fourth motion. And For eyeshadow wouldnt look that good to be smudeging it.How to change your make up, help?
Instead of eyeliner, I actually take an angle brush and cover it with black eyeshadow then line my top and bottom lashes about 3/4 way, and then take a q-tip and blend it for a smoky look. Then for mascara, I love big lashes, so I first stroke the mascara downward for the top lashes, then I go upward, because this makes the lashes have more mascara on them, looking long but not clumped. I also put mascara on the bottom lashes, because this makes the eyes look bigger and pop. Then I take an eyelash curler and crimp my top lashes. Hope I helped!
Girl I hate the natural look too. For me makeup should be fun. Today I wore false eyelashes to school and everyone was saying that I looked great and that my eye makeup was great. You should try some natural looking false eyelashes. Thier dramatic, your eyes will open up. Plus you dont have to wear as much makeup. Thier Great!
I'm not quite sure about how to smudge eyeliner and eye shadow, but a mascara that doesn't clump and is lengthening and curling is the Maybelline Define-A-Lash mascara:) It does exactley what you want it to. It neverr clumps!

Go to my website and do a virtual make-over. It will tell you some ideas. Do you have blue-green hazel? Let me know if you can't find any thing online I have a specific program at home I can customize a look just for you. It is based on your hair color, skin tone and eye color. Also if you are a glamour girl, natural ar minimalist (hardly any colors). What are the best make up products?
different colors can not only be for different facial features, but also different personalities. i'd personally reccomend you go to your local MAC and bum around and play around with their makeup. they really won't mind, and the people there will help if you really don't know what shades you want.

in general, you'd want to stick to maybe a metallic brown or a forrest green for your eyeshadow. something dark but dramatic, and not light. MAC has good ones, so does Urban Decay [sephora has it] and even Target [Rimmel mostdef., covergirl]

for eyeliner, i use victoria's secret as a general rule because it is one of the few eyeliners i know that dont' smear like crazy, plus it has a smokifier, if you know what i mean.

if you're pale, i'd generally stick with darker colors for products because they make your eyes look more accented in relation to you hair, skin, etc.

also, i definately reccommend Clinique. they are a bit pricey, but not too bad. Their mascara is amazing [it separates your lashes, which is huge this spring] as well as their coverup [very light and natural, not gunky and gross]

    sorry, that was superlong.
I have very pale skin and green/blue eyes.

I absolutely love Bare Escentuals makeup. I cannot say enough good things about it!

I started using it back in July of last year. I wasn't too sure about it because it just didn't make sense to me that using a powder foundation would really work.

Well, it has and I love it!!!! I have since thrown out every kind of liquid makeup that I ever owned without looking back.

This stuff is purely natural. It looks soooo natural and you only need a teeny, tiny bit. So, although the price is a little steep, it will last you a very long time!

I use the Fair foundation (It;s the lightest that Bare Escentuals offers.) since my skin is sooo light and prone to redness. It covers like a gem! I also would not be without the regular bisque to cover imperfections! They are definately my Holy Grail! Don't forget about the Mineral Veil which is the finishing touch!

For eyeshadows, try lavenders, and pinks.

Ebay express has most of this stuff for sale and you don't have to bid on it! You can even try samples for all of the products. My favorite person to get samples from on Ebay Ex[press is '; I heard it from a little Birdy'; She gives you 1/4 tsp instead of 1/8th which is what most samples are and they are a good price!

Lastly, my daughter just turned 13 and I am starting her out on Bare Escentuals because I believe it is the best. It is true when they say that you can actually sleep in it. I have, and I swear it helps clear my complextion. I used to be very acne prone in a couple of areas. I'm not now.

If you have any other questions, feel free to email me.

    Good luck! = )

here are some good make up products.. chanel's lip glosses are really nice.. some red shades would bring out ur blonde hair..

clinique has some nice eyeshadows too.. wear dark shades like brown or dark purple to make ur eyes stands out..

chanel has some nice eyeliner.. get mayb a brown ones.. or black for night events..

for foundation.. get light shades.. if u have pale skin.. maybe get the lightest or 2nd lightest shade.. if u're white.. get beige or light brown or pink base.. but if u're asian.. do not ever get pink base.. they make ur skin look fake.. get a yellow base..
for hazel- lavender color is best , others are dark blue and dark green mascara...but they dont go with the lavender shadow ;)

    also dark brown eye pencil

pale skin - pink, violet, lavender and apricot blush
I am also blonde with greenish/hazel eyes. I love Maybelline's Dream Matte foundation in Sandy Beige. I use a blush that has soft, peach tones (browns and reds are too harsh for blondes).

As far as eye shadow, use a plum or smoky color along the crease inside your upper lid. Use a pale pink / peach or beige directly under the brow and over the part of your lid that is closest to the eye. Use this sparingly, because dark makeup looks awful on fair skinned blondes (and will make you look cheap!) LOL

Anyhow, I feel that pale lavendars and purples (in moderation) really bring out the green in a hazel eye.

How to Get Rid of the Black Rings Around Your Eyes

    http://dark-rings-around-eye.blogspot.com/
I take it you mean that it is genetic. It is still a good idea to look for a good eye gel something with natural ingredients like cucumber or chamomile. But, your best bet is concealer, the right kind, color and consistency. For serious dark circles you would want something that is somewhat thick and creamy that's really going to cover those circles, also something that's close to your foundation color or would be if you don't wear foundation. Physicians formula as well as others have really good, thick concealer's with peachy and yellow hues. Now its trial and error, take the time to experiment mixing and applying and blending. A good trick is to apply starting at the inner corner of eyes and then blend out, don't go too far out or else you will look like a raccoon, but by focusing on inner corners you will prevent that look. It will be important to find something that will remove the concealer without burning your eyes, I use baby oil. Hope this helps.
Use Vibrant by Prescriptives. It reduces dark circles, brightens the are around the eye and reduces puffiness. You can't go wrong!
I have the same problem! I have heard of a product called Hylexin if you are talking about those pernament circles. I need to try it though
Use a good concealer under your make-up. Estee Lauder sells an excellent one.
You might try using concealer under your eyes. A shade slightly lighter than your skin tone should lighten that area up. Covergirl is my personal favorite becuase their formula blends easily. Good luck!

What is the best make up for your skin?

Which make up allows your skin to breathe well and covers up? [for a 14 year old girl so nothing too heavy]What is the best make up for your skin?
Mineral makeup. It does not make your pores clogged, so your face will not get oily. What is the best make up for your skin?
In my opinion your too young for foundation, you dont need it. Foundation should only be used to even out your skin tone and usually applied to your forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin. I usually only use a concealer on people where they need it, under the eye and if they have a blemish, you are so young probably dont need under eye concealer but maybe need to cover a blemish. But if you want to wear a foundation, I suggest a tinted moisturizer and I love the one by Cover Girl.

neutrogena mineral powder foundation is the best! it gives realy good coverage i dnt even have 2 use concealer (and i have horrible dark under eye circles!) and it helps out wit my oily t zone =D its also only $8 and u can find it at any drugstore or walmart!

Do you have any make-up or hair tips?

Hi, I am terrible at looking good, if anyone has any fashion, make-up, hair, beauty routine tips, I'd love them! Any random tips!Do you have any make-up or hair tips?
Well, I know just how you feel. I went through this for many years. It was like a never-ending search. Sometimes I felt like I was really stupid for caring at all, but what I wanted wasn't to be like a movie star or model but just to look nice, not dumpy or frumpy. What I realized was that you just can't try too hard, or things will get worse. Do what feels good, eat right, excercise, drink water and you will naturally look beautiful. Wear makeup if you want to. Style your hair if you want to. Don't do anything you don't want to. Your discomfort will just make things worse.

Thanks for listeningto my little rant and good luck!Do you have any make-up or hair tips?
    Wash your hair.

    Brush your teeth.

    Take showers.

    Trim your nails.
    MORNING:

in the morning u should cleanse, tone and use a moisturiser with SPF in it to help protect your skin. it also helps if theres a tint in it as it saves putting a foundation on which can be tricky. theres a great one u can by on Avon. i've put a link to it in sources. just search clearskin SPF 15 and its the first one. theres also a US one if u live in america. i dont know the website for this though. its good because it moisturises, it protects with SPF15, it has a tint to even out ur complection and it helps prevent spots as its ';clearskin';.

    MAKE-UP:

u wont need to put on a foundation or powder because of the tinted moisturiser. use a grey or blue eyeliner 2 make ur eyes apear larger. use a natural shade of cream or very light correl pink over the eye lids use a darker shade near the outside corners of the eyes and a highlighter in the inside corners of the eyes. remember, less is more so never go really over the top with make up or top it up every 5 mins.

    HAIR

ponytails r back in! put ur hair in a high ponytail ant decorate with something like a nice bow. pull out a couple of wisps of hair to ';finish'; the look.

    EAVNINGS:

ALWAYS remove make up b4 bed. leaving make up on can age ur skin dramaticly with all the chemicals in it. u may want to do this with a make up remover or even just a cleanser. DO NOT use soap as this will dry out your skn. b4 bed make sure uve removed all ur make up, cleansed, toned and moisturised (no tint, SPF optional)

other than this, exfoliating once a week is good for your skin, a face mask and also steaming is a good idea. drinking lots of water flushes out toxins and oil and helps prevent spots

well thats all ive got so see ya and good luck!! xxx
i am like you, i want to look good, but i look terrible with any makeup. i dont know if makeup just doesn't look good on me, or if im not doing it right. but this site really helped.

I know it's cheap sh**, but I'm on a budget for a few weeks and need something under $15.00 that won't look dry, or creased. Is it okay to just use sunblock with concealer... maybe with a little mineral powder on top? Thanks! What's the best make-up you can get at Walgreens or Walmart?
Physicians Formula @walmart.Best stuff I have used to date. It runs about $12.00. Does not look caked on and looks very natural. And yes you can use sunblock under concealer. I put it on and let it soak in for about 5 min. before applying makeup. Hope you get something that works well for you whatever it is!What's the best make-up you can get at Walgreens or Walmart?
Sorry to say but nothing and the mineral powders are really bad for your skin. The bismuth content will clog pores and break you out. Is there anyway you can wait til your out of your budget? Sometimes the brands like Bee Luscious give you more bang for your buck cause it lasts Soooooo long. Check out Memorial Day Weekend Sales on line for good makeup.
Prestige and Alamay at Walgreens are really good. Covergirl and Maybelline is also sold at both and all of them are inexpensive. Alamay, Covergirl and Maybelline prolly have what you are looking for. Prestige has really good eyeliner
The Neutrogena brand......it gets rid of acne and gives you a nice even complexion.......also, the blush and some of the lip gloss has sunscreen in it......for mascara and eyeliner get NYC brand
i dont exactly know what its called.

but i got this mascara from walgreens that was like 6$

and its in a orange container

i really like how it works.

i know theres not much information there.

    sorry if this doesnt help
try covergirl eyeshadows..and maybelline mascara works really good..and yes its ok to wear sunblock under concealer
    Walmart-Mineral powder

  • What are some good make up substitutes?

i don't necessarily want to wear make up, but i'm interested in some ideas or a few substitutes for make up.

such as putting petroleum jelly on your lips, cheeks, and eyebrows to make then shine.

anyone have any other ideas? What are some good make up substitutes?
well... other than that I don't really know of anymore. I am sure there are more but those are like the only ones I know of.

I don't know if you don;t want to wear make-up because of how long it takes or because it is not good for your skin or what??? But have you ever heard of Arbonne? They have a lot of natural stuff.... a lot of which is natural make-up---it is a lot better for your skin! I like it and so do all my friends!

hope I helped! ;)What are some good make up substitutes?
get some white powder on your face to remove shine, simple lip gloss can be used on your lips
I understand your want to look natural! If you wanted to even out your skin tone, try a tinted moisturizer. They have just a slight skin shade to cover imperfections, but condition your skin with vitamins, and most come with a considerable SPF. If this is to much, always apply sunscreen every morning! Your eyebrows should always stay neat, but not to overplucked. For your cheeks, try a cheek stain, but be careful! To much will defeat the purpose. A cheek stain gives a natural, rosy glow. For your lips, a tinted balm is perfect. Try Neutrogena's collection, they are a personal favorite! Finally, if you want, apply mascara. Doing this will give the appearance of a put-together face without caking your face with makeup. Hopefully these ideas are useful to you! Good luck!
www.bareminerals.com it makes your skin glow and you don't look like your wearing makeup you'll look flawless. It is also good for your skin because its nautral. Peace.
cheeks? LOLS nice and shiny like a car!

oh and you can use paint as a substitute for eyeshadow...SERIOUSLY

    lol...

Why do I look like a panda every time I put on make-up?

Is it because I am in fact, a panda bear, or is it because I am very unskilled at the application of cosmetics? Why do I look like a panda every time I put on make-up?
could be worse u could look like a dogWhy do I look like a panda every time I put on make-up?
If you go to a department store and get a make over the assistant will outline to you what colors to wear and how to apply it. Good Luck!
    funny
I think that you have big eyes so if you put dark makeup onyour eyelids this makes the effect of panda. Try soft colours on your eyelids, maybe then effect will be better.
Unskilled. You can go to a makeup counter at Belk or Dillard's and they will show you how to properly put on makeup. You could also ask for an Avon or Mary Kay representative on their websites, and they could help you as well. Why not try?
I think you could be using the concealer a little heavily under the eyes
    You want my bamboo.
maybe because u are actually a panda in disguise!!! mwahahaha
    Put the black eyeliner down
Less eyemake up. Try using a lighter eyeshadow and very little underneath the eye. Don't use eyeliner all around the eye.

Don't emphasise the lips too much, try a light shade a a touch of gloss in the middle of the lips, very sexy..
less eyeliner/mascara and apparently white foundation!
I think i know where you're going with this. If you use too much dark eye makeup and have fair skin, it tends to wash you out, so you have a light face and dark, dark eyes, like a panda. Just make sure you wear enough blush (not too much!) to keep your color, and maybe tone down the black eyeliner. I use black or dark brown eyeshadow and apply it as a liner with a small brush. This gives a smokey effect without the stark contrast of using eyeliner.
Don't put on so much makeup and make sure it matches your face
You are just probably putting on too much - remember, the idea of makeup is to enhance your features. Less is always better. If you are in a city, even a small one, go to a cosmetics dept. and they are very helpful, may even get a makeover.
    Use waterproof mascara
Maybe you are putting too much make up on. I have many tips for eyeliner and eye shadow on.

The fact is that if you put eyeliner on the top eye then you have to close the eye you are putting eyeliner on and stretch it with your finger and very slowly and confidently put a thin line of eyeliner, wet eyeliner with a thin paintbrush type is the best because it's easier. When you do the bottom eye pull down with your finger underneath it and on the wet bit put a thin line. But if you are using eye shadow then go from dark to light which is bottom to top and remember be subtle. Good luck
you are putting too much eyeliner on
First of all I suggest investing in some waterproof mascara. Also, I think that you're probably applying too much eyeliner. Less is always more. I imagine that you want quite a dramatic effect from your mascara too, and are probably coating your lashes too many times. Invest in a good mascara like Clinique's high definition, or Lancome make very good ones. Then instead of coating the lashes from root to tip, only do it half way along to the tip, this stops them clogging up so much. Use a eyelash comb to sort out any excess too. A liquid eyeliner is very good if applied accurately, however, if you haven't got a steady hand use a kohl pencil. You can always make the outline with the pencil and go over it with liquid eyeliner. On your lower lashes, only put a very thin line of kohl pencil (don't use liquid eyeliner!!).

Remember less is always more. Depending on your eye colour and complexion, use a light-reflecting eye shadow, that brightens your eyes.
you're just lucky you don't look like a raccoon..at least Pandas are cute.
You are a panda who is unskilled at the application of makeup.
well when you put colors on go very light you can add more but not take any off. start off with a nice light pink blush put it on light , than go for your eyelinerdo not use blake if you get this problem use charcole you can put on alot but not alot will show up. than do your eye shadow go with thecolor you want but GO LIGHT than lip gloss go light you look cheap with alot than you are done from panda to beautiful woman
You may be using the wrong types of makeups and colors for your skin and hair types.

You can go to a department store and the people in the makeup department will help you. You may want to invest in a makeup job with a professional makeup artist who will teach you to do you makeup properly.

    Ok.

I Think Im good at this.

Use the Concealing Loose Powder under your eye before you applay the makeup ( eye makeup) .

After you're done with applaying the eye makeup, wipe the Concealing Loose Powder away.

YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A PANDA EYES AGAIN

you can find loose powder in any MAC store .

    GOODLUCK :)
you probably put to much make-up on
because you put on too much, less is more...trust me! :D
Aviod eye shadow. On some girls, like me, it dosen't improve our looks. And if you still feel like you need it, aviod dark eyeshadow, or ask another girl who is pro to show you how to apply it to flatter.
its probubly the eye liner. some people with larger eyes have a problem with the makeup lowering itself under your eyes. try a sheer eyeshadow and mascara.. its classic and natrul looking!!!
you probaly put too much. do you rim your entire eye? top lid and bottom? maybe thats why. if dats the look u like, you should try waterproof liner. or get halp from a beauty advisor at a cosmetic counter.
Cut down on the bamboo, or the eyeshadow.
maybe u put to much make up

At the end of The Phantom of the Opera movie, is the old Raoul Patrick Wilson with make-up or another actor?

I just watched the movie, and the old Raoul still sorta looks like an old version of Patrick Wilson and he sorta sounds like him too. When I watched the credits, it never said ';Old Raoul'; or anything like that. Does anyone know the real answer? At the end of The Phantom of the Opera movie, is the old Raoul Patrick Wilson with make-up or another actor?
As with Madame Geray, who appears in the opening scene they are both made up to look much older and the makeup is very convincingAt the end of The Phantom of the Opera movie, is the old Raoul Patrick Wilson with make-up or another actor?
OH that show is soooo annoyinggg.

Have anyone here put make up on a guy in their sleep?

I did that to 2 uncles, 5 guy friends when they got stupid drunk. It was funny to watch them leave the house with a little eyeshadow.Have anyone here put make up on a guy in their sleep?
No, but I punched my brother in the balls when he was sleeping and he woke up an hour later crying like a baby. hahahaHave anyone here put make up on a guy in their sleep?
Hahaha I did that to my boyfriend 1 year ago :) He was drunk and left with eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipgloss and blush and EVERYTHING :)

He is a REALLY heavy sleeper. He walked like 5 minutes out of my house before I told him what I did ;) Haha he just kissed me, hugged me and laughed :D

Of course he made ME take it off him :| lol
haha. one time when me %26amp; my brother were both kids, we got in a fight the other night %26amp; i was still mad the next morning so before i went to school, i grabbed my mom's red lipstick %26amp; smeared it all over his face! there was lines %26amp; scribbles everywhere. and by the time i was running down the stairs, he woke up. and just in time i was in-between the front door, he was screaming.
yeah i did that to my brother i curled his eyelashes he has really long lashes i was jealous i know but i wanted to see how good they looked curled i also put lip gloss and some eyeshadow it was funny but boy did i get into really big trouble that time lol but it was worth it.
When I was little, I painted my Grandpa's toenails blue while he was asleep. When he saw them, He thought His circulation had stopped and was getting ready to go to the hospital when I told him what I'd done. Thankfully, he was relieved and I didn't get in any trouble.
i did to my boyfriend while he was awake though. i also put lipstick on him he got them bigggg lips so he ened up looking like a prostitue lolz. i also waxed one of his arm and left the other one lmao. and few days later he went an interview while shaking hands the guy looked at his arm lmao
    Omg really funny story....

my guy friend was sleeping in class and i drew peircings on his nose and ears and chin..i also drew a mustach and stuff..it took him like a few hours to notice it was there..by that time the whole school knew.

    hahahah
I didn't use make-up, I used Sharpie. My friend's dad is bald, and one night while he was sleeping... we drew a smiley face on the back of his head. He never even knew about it, and walked around all day like that. Haha.
    hahahaha.. lol..

    funny
Hell yeah when I was a teenager.

The best part is when they wake or sober up and don't realize they have it on.

Pretty damn funny... thanks for the memories!
Yeah, I did it to a friend before and he got really mad at me. And it wasn't a ';little eyeshadow';, it was really dark with bright pink blush spots on his cheeks!
Yup!! Big red dot on the forehead, bright blue eye shadow, pink lipstick..... while sleeping in a zebra print blanket.. it was priceless!! Pictures to treasure also hahah
Yep! To my ex husband. I also used one of those baby booger suckers and put hickeys on his forehead in the shape of a smiley face. We were always playing pranks on each other. Childish but fun!
thats funny. no i havent but now i will =)

i have spots but i mean i dont think my boyfriend s really care.. y i dunno. i hate my face but its getting bebbter now so i thought i wouldnt wear make-up for a bit to help my face get better even more ...who should i do ? should i just be myself ? my mum and my boyfriend say im very beautiful wot should i do ? xxxI have stops but make-up doesnt help should i not wear it to get rid of spots faster?
I would go for it, I did the same thing and I am so glad I did. I really don't wear that much now because of the great change that occured.I have stops but make-up doesnt help should i not wear it to get rid of spots faster?
no don't wear make up if you dont need to because it might clog pores and make your skin oilier. if you do you HAVE to remember to cleanse your face morning and night. try using spot creams like clearasil ultra rapid spot treatment but test a bit on your skin first to see if you react badly. i use to use that and it worked perfectly. I use garniers pure daily purifying discs now which are good because my skin stays blemish free. Remember to use a good moisturiser like Nivea Visage Young Control It Moisturiser that doesn't make my skin greay and smells great. It's good to tone aswell but you might not have time for that and if you dont have time for moisturising and cleansing then use cleansing wipes for your skin tipe. I always use them at night when i'm too tired to cleanse. hope this helps :D

Good make up for blemish skin is maybelline pure make up foundation and powder. I absolutely love the concealer stick and would die without it it's really good.
You could always wear minimal makeup like lipgloss and eyeliner/shadow but not put too much on your skin. If you use tonnes of foundation you could try just using a little bit of powder to reduce shine instead of that.
spots are caused by the pores getting clogged up. A lot of make-up could clog them up even more. I would just use minimum make-up until all the spots have disappeared.

    8, you're very pretty.

I think you should dye your hair dark brown. The whole highlight thing is in, but it's gotten really old I think because everyone has hair like that.

It'd make your eyes (probably your best feature) stand out more.

Then, you might be a 9. Whoa hoo. You're pretty already so you should just use what God gave you. What are some good make-up and hair tips for me? (pic included)?
okay so.. I think you would nice with red hair. but i would cut it a little above your shoulder and straighten it... you could but black liquid liner on your eyes but if you wanted to put eye shadow on i wouldn't put any harsh color on with the liner. and a pale lip gloss would be good too.. :) just my opinion
ur okay. ur eyes are a pretty green. purple eyeshadow looks great with ur color eyes. um straighten ur hair and get side bangs and do a half up half down pony tail with tha sidebangs and wear hoop earings gold or silver it doznt matter. and mascara and some brown or black eyeliner. and some lipgloss.
i'd say a 6-7. you're alright looking, but not anything to write home about. let your hair grow a little bit longer, it looks kinda short. your skin looks pale, so try to darken it up a little bit, either with a tan or some make up.
    Your pretty.

    8!

    Try darker mascara and eyeliner(:

it would bring out your eyes.
You are gorgeous...can't believe u r only 13...I would have guessed 16...anyway you are very pretty, maybe get a hair cut shoulder length...i give you a 9...very pretty
ummmm...I think you should straighten your hair.

    Wear mascara and eye liner.
omg one nosteral is bigger than the other

I would suggest Mac cosmetics, however with any eyeshadow no matter what brand you choose buy a base to really make those colors stay vibrant!
My brand of choice is aularale.com/7002. They have great shadow colors. I like to apply mine wet - it makes the color more intense. And it stays all day and into the night. Tip: before applying, make sure your eyelids are clean, dry and free of oil.
    Sephora or mac
    Everydayminerals.com

super good for your skin and it's cheap too :)
    Try mac, sephora or arbonne.

they are all pretty expensive, but they are really good quality.
    Definitely Sephora (www.sephora.com)

    or Upscale Department Stores

I would simply try a 24hour coverstick/foundation in a really light color, apply it underneath and then apply the color- perhaps a makeup sealer pr powder afterwards.

    MAC always have good quality

What is a good make up routine for a 12 year old with brown eyes?

in case u getting freaked out that a 12 year old girl is wearing make up im MUCH more MATURE for my age. so bring on ur experience. and of course ur ideas !!! i wanna go for natural look but focus on my eyes. What is a good make up routine for a 12 year old with brown eyes?
Because you are quite young i would stick to natural makeup. I don't advise using full foundation as you have young skin. For a nice base, try some powder and a little bit of blush. For your eyes i would stick to eyeshadow, for brown eyes blue, gold and pale green can look quite good and purple definately looks nice in whatever shade. You could use the bolder shades for parties and for a natural day look i would stick to very light shadows and preferably gold. The best way to bring out your eyes is to use eyeliner/kohl on your lower eyes. This might be a little to dramatic for daytime but it would look nice for parties and it may be better to use when you are older. The best product for eyes for someone your age is mascara and you could also curl your lashes before applying it. Try a natural lip gloss and make sure you remove your makeup properly each night in order to keep your skin nice and clean and stop spots. Also check out some youtube videos for some extra tips. Hope this helps :D xWhat is a good make up routine for a 12 year old with brown eyes?
Make sure you keep your skin clear by drinking plenty of water and using facial products such as Simple to keep spots away. If you do get spots though, use a tea tree and/or witch hazel stick to get rid of them - do NOT pop them! It can leave you with scars and might lead to a spread of spots.

Other than that, a light powder foundation would be best as at 12 your skin probably doesn't have any/many imperfections and it allows your skin to breathe. Use a black or brown mascara and a matching eyeliner on the inside of the eye, put a soft colour on your eyelid to make your eyes stand out.

Try searching on Google for colours that go well with brown eyes, I have green eyes and using brown eyeshadows really helps bring out the colour.
What's a good makeup for a 12 year old .. None, if you want to go natural do so. Wanna focus on your eyes, use a little non-petroleum jelly lightly brushed on the lashes %26amp; brush with a recycled clean toothbrush. Consider a makeup routine when you can drive yourself and purchase the makeup from the money that you've earned working for it
Well, i'm fifteen, and this is what I do.

First, I start off with my base. Which is also a cover-up.

When you buy this, you should get a tone just a little bit darker than your original tone.

NOT TOO DARK. You don't want to make it seem like you have a tan, it would look just too fake, because your arms and neck would be way lighter than your face.

It's only suppose to cover your acne, or scar's. Not suppose to make you look like you're from a complete different ethnicity.

How I apply; I stick my finger in the bottle, and put spots all over my face, in all the differnet area's. I then rub in so my whole face is evenly covered. You don't want to make only some spots to be covered with the makeup. It will look fake.

Second, I get my eye shadow out.

The kind I use, it from Claire's. It has every color in it that I need, and it isn't TOO bright, but bright enough to see it clearly.

How I apply; I get out two Q-tips. I wet them a little bit, but squeeze out any extra water from them with my fingers. If they are too wet, they won't be able to get the eyeshadow on you're eyelid. It will just run down your eye.

Apply the color you want to your eye. I usually start with a white or really light base, then blend with another darker color.

Third, I get out my eyeliner.

I refuse to use one you have to sharpen, it's really impossible to work with, and hurts my eyes.

Liquid is okay sometimes, but be careful when it get's wet. It WILL sting your eyes.

How I apply; It's hard to explain. I pull my bottom eye out just a little bit, and run the stick across the inside quickly. It shouldn't sting, if you do it right.

Then, I pull it back up and get right under the bottom eyelashes.

Be careful to not put too much on, you don't want to look like a raccoon.

And last, I simply put some lip gloss on my lips.

    that's my morning routine.

    Hope I helped. :)
    same :)

yeah well i have dream matte mousse in nude

its a good easy foundation and good if you have any spots to cover

mascara doesnt hurt anyone and it looks really good to bring out brown eyes like mine %26amp; yours. Also nice eyeshadow and eye liner is cool too.

Lipgloss %26lt;3 is brilliant to use too

I also use a really small amount of dream mousse blush! x

    hope i helped x

    Shannon
okay well i'm thirteen, i started wearing makeup when i was like .. 12 also, and my eyes are brown .

so for a casual look i would say do a nutural colour all over your lid, ( beige, gold, brown, cream ) and then add some mascara ( black ), and a nice pink blush .

if you want to go for a more dramatic look, try adding some black liquid liner on your upper lid and flick it out to a wing .
If you're confident in yourself and believe in the beautiful girl that you are, you won't need that much makeup.

So go for the basics: mascara (only on the top! Don't forget that!)

Maybe a little natural, nude-colored eyeshadow, and lip gloss.

    I'm sure you're stunning already.
ewwww NOT white eyeliner. thats discusting, no offence.

wear natural eyeshadow colours like tan, lightish shimmery gray if you know what i mean with mascara. also you can use lipgloss and some cover up if you need it.

and dont use eyelinerat all. some people like it but i find it looks trampy
i'm twelve and have brown eyes, i would say try lighter shades (and lighter appliances of make-up) like some eyeshadow and although people don't consider it make-up some colored lip-gloss from Victoria Secret
Black mascara and eyeliner OR Black mascara and a plum-purple eyeliner on the bottom lashline.

You can sweep a light purple eye shadow on the lid. :)
    okay natural

put like a creme color on your eye lids

and some black mascara with like white eyeliner

    it will look super cute

i would say foundation, tan eyeshadow so that it doesnt look like your wearing anything but it definitely does something %26amp; pencil black eyeliner.

Don't be fooled. They are still thick as thieves. Anyone who bought that whole ';tirade'; and ';denunciation'; show needs to open their eyes. It was all a dog and pony show for the public. Obama has no more denounced his dear uncle rev. than his own wife. The whole thing smacked of a set-up.If Obama wins White House will him and uncle J kiss and make up ?
Yes Barry and Jerry will be holding hands on day of Barry's inaugural.

They are still BFF, the breakup was just an attempt to dissuade voters, luckily not too many (other than obamabots) bought into it. Reminds me of a passage from a certain candidates book about dreams:

    ';Politicians could use race-baiting to overcome a host of limitations';
all i know is reagan sold weapons to iran and mccains mother is a racist and gets away with it because she's 92

apples don't fall far from the tree
If obama wins the vicepresident would be for sure chamillionaire
Sure, reconciliation and forgiveness are christian values.
Rev. Right already has made up with Obama
Probably and that would be the worse thing in the world.
    I'll bet they already have....secretly.

  • Do you use organic make up or lotion?

For the sake of this question it is ONLY about ORGANIC make up or lotion, (not food)

If you use it do you think it has improved your skin?

I started using only organic stuff 6 months ago and its seems like my skin has become more even and my pores smaller. I'm wondering what other people's experience has been with it.Do you use organic make up or lotion?
I don't use organic cosmetics, but I use organic and vegan products for my skin. they have helped dramatically with blemishes and acne; it will benefit you very much.

Try going to Whole Foods/ Sprouts/ Central Market and look at their products.

EDIT: Sorry, my reply didn't work for some reason, but...

Alba Botanics is my favorite. They have a papya enzyme

mask that I use 3 times a week that just completely

soothes and heals the skin and it also dissolves dried

skin and oils/dirt. Also try Mychelles

(http://mychelleusa.com/) they have great products as

    well.

I'm glad I could help!Do you use organic make up or lotion?
yes!! i use organic makeup! it has DEFINITELY IMPROVED MY SKIN! i'm so happy! i have my natural color back and i look natural and great! i have recently in march purchased: organic tinted moisturizer, organic concealer, organic bronzer and organic loose powder! i think that my face is absoultely more beautiful than ever before thanks to the organic ingredients! go organic makeuP!
I make all my own skin care and most of it is organic. I'm only 16 and have a big family so we don't have tons of money to always get organic. I do think that my skin (acne) is improving. I use a papaya mask, yarrow chamomile peppermint %26amp; tea tree toner and emu oil at night as a moisturizer and a light homemade recipe for in the morning. I make my own body lotion and body sprays also.

    Hope this helps!!!!!
I use organic make up - I haven't tried the face wash yet though. I really don't like organic make up. I don't think it covers as well and even though it doesn't clog my pores it makes my face look kind of chalky and it's kind of expensive so I don't really love it. I do like organic soaps and lotions though. I think they work great. As for face wash.... I don't know. I'll have to try that.

    MJP
thats good, where do you go for yours?my family and i been going through a company thats alot cheaper safer greener last longer and enviornmentally safe.love it so much.i see a huge improvement on my skin andother things as well.it kind works like costco.you cant shop there unless you know somebody.good to see more ppl getting more greener!

Do the people who make up excuses about gas prices really think we are that dumb?

They say that there is a shortage of gas, and that is why it is so expensive. Bull!!! I find it hard to believe that when people are traveling (summer and winter breaks, Spring Break, holidays, etc.) gas prices go up and otherwise, it stays the same. Funny that we have a ';shortage'; when it's traveling season...no?Do the people who make up excuses about gas prices really think we are that dumb?
Yes they do, and unfortunately, most of us are!

What other reason could there be for people contining to buy gas-guzzling SUVs?Do the people who make up excuses about gas prices really think we are that dumb?
They are making all-time high profits and stealing as much as they can before Bush leaves office.
Yes, they think we're that dumb. But why shouldn't they? We've gone along with their BS for years. Why would they expect us to wake up now?
    Actually, we are that dumb.

The price is fixed to maximize profit. The government will do nothing because the oil companies supplied the money for all of the political campaigns for those in congress.

    We let it happen.

    That's why we are dumb.
Remember the price will go up

then drop a few cents then up then drop a few cents

    same pattern

and thus the gas price stays high

and everyone is comfortable with it

complaining yes - but we buy it

    where else can you go

we will not all park the cars we drive forever

so we pay pay and the gov and oil companies

get paid more and more income and taxes

no one wants to push alternative fuels

    or electric cars

yes both can be done its proven

yet when will we all YELL NON STOP to get them

    into the market place

its too late when we are paying $5-$10 per gallon
Yes, we think you are that dumb. You showed your lack of knowledge about the natural law of supply and demand. When more people demand something, such a gasoline for spring break and vacation, and the supply is constant it is natural for the price to increase. The supply can not be increased because no new refinery has been built in this country for 30 years.
The problem is not that they think we are dumb, I think they don’t have a rational good answer so they give the old standby. After reading on the subject, I suspect that there are three basic ingredients in the price minus the various taxes and stuff:

Cost to the refiner of the crude – this is subject to vast speculation (normally quoted in dollars per barrel delivered) – this is where the speculator and producer make money

Cost to refine and deliver the product – this is somewhat fixed throughout a manufacturing cycle – this varies by who refines it and how much it costs to deliver – this is where “Big Oil” makes their money (if you believe they make it)

Cost to the consumer – this is where independent stations and large wholesalers make their money. This again is somewhat constant and over the last several weeks has fluctuated only a few cents per gallon.

I suggest to you most of the rise and fall of the cost of gasoline at the pump is affected most in the first (Cost to the refiner)

We have gasoline at $2 a gallon. If that doesn't drive demand, I don't know what will. -Jennifer Granholm
Why is there always an outrage over gas prices. I bet everyone pays no attention to escalating costs of other items, and says nothing about it. But OMG Gas Prices. Really, let's just say that your car has a 15-gallon tank. That means that for every ten cents that gas goes ';up';, it costs you a whole extra $1.50 to fill your tank. Really, is that killing you? $1.50. Think of everything you buy in a week, now take out an item that costs $1.50, is that a 20 oz coke? A pack of gum. Half a pack of cigarettes!?

    Really, get over it.
They are just telling us something to keep us quiet while they take all of our money. As bad as it is to say, they have us right where they want us. They know that for the most part we cant live without them. Honestly, how many people would go out and buy an electric car if they could? I know that I would not and most everyone that I know would not either. You pay for the life that you live.
well yeah they do think that we are stupid and unfortunately there are alot of people that are stupid and believe everything the government tells them...

Should I put on make up for castings?

Also, I recently had my braces on and I'm quite bothered by it because I can't smile properly. Does it matter if I have my braces on or not?Should I put on make up for castings?
What kind of castings? I only know modeling and do not put makeup. If you must, put min. cause they want to see your face. Also keep your hair tied back. If they see potential in you then they will ask how long til your braces come off and will tell you to come back then. They rarely sign you on the spot with braces.Should I put on make up for castings?
Every casting is looking for something different so don't get discouraged about your looks. I dont think your braces matter too much but you'd probably have better luck without them. It looks like you're male so dont wear make up. Do you best to keep you skin clear and natural. Just do your best.

Cleaning my Bare Minerals make up brushes?

Does anyone know how to clean the bare minerals make up brushes without ruining them? If I have the MAC brush cleaner would that be safe to use?Cleaning my Bare Minerals make up brushes?
    Step 1:

Run the bristles of the makeup brush under warm running water.

    Step 2:

Apply a small amount of shampoo to bristles and work into a light lather.

    Step 3:

Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will notice that the water leaving the brush is tinted from old makeup.

    Step 4:

Continue rinsing until no color leaves the brush.

    Step 5:

Allow it to air-dry.Cleaning my Bare Minerals make up brushes?
I always wash mine like the first person suggested, works great!
    yes i think it would

since it is a brush cleaner, and most brushes are the same. so i think mac would work.
ya its the same type of product sold from bare minerals..

i dont believe it would be good however to use soap since that might ruin the bristles and leave a residue..

but something alcohol based.. even put some rubbing alcohol on a towel and rub your brushes on that.
Yes, def use the MAC brush cleaner. It works on any kind of brush and works really well. Just put some onto a tissue and twirl the bursh around until you get it all off.

Try to wash your makeup brushes once a month with baby shampoo, too, because that makes them really nice and soft.
    yup that would be safe

i wash mine with soap and water and works great

Should I start wearing make up?

Well I don't think it is me, butit could become me, well kind. I was told I look realy pretty when I do. Well I really like this guy and I don't know weather I should wear it, he might think badly of me now. I am 14 by the way. But I have also been told I don't need to wear it. So what do you think?Should I start wearing make up?
Why cover up natural beauty?Should I start wearing make up?
hmm...don't start wearing toooo much at once.

for now, try some brown mascara.

in a month or so, try black mascara.

if you like the look, buy some more. but buy only one thing at once. like, after mascara, you can add some eyeliner or blush. but only use it if you know how to apply it properly. you don't want to look fake when he sees you. guys like girls with a natural, pretty look. take the make-up slow, mkayy? :]
just do wat u think looks better on u, and have ppl like u for who u r.
I don't think a guy should like you for your looks. He might notice you if you wear makeup but once you stop wearing makeup after that one time he'll go away and wearing it everyday, will make him use to having you wear it and when you don't wear it that once, it will have worn down your face and everything. SO Idon't htink you should mabye just a little mascara, that's what I do. ;D
make-up is hard to really get it perfect. my mascara is always getting clumpy. my concealer makes my eyes look wrinkly. ect. but it doesn't hurt to put on a little lip gloss and maybe some blush
    I agree with answer #1.

If you end up wearing makeup though, go natural. Try not to over do it.
i think 14 is a GREAT age to start wearing make-up

but dont just do it because someone wants you to

do if because you want to

    :]
if you don't think you should wear it then don't. if i guy needs to you to put on makeup for him to notice you then he is not worth it
    yeah its amazing

    it def. saved my lifee!
I dont think it would hurt to wear make up just as you werent wearing any at all. You know what i mean? Like have you seen the full house episode where Becky says that to D.J. If you want, just put make up on that enhances your natural beauty. So maybe light mascara, light eye liner, and a tiny bit of blush. But the most important thing is that you do what you feel is right. if you dont feel the need, or you dont want to, then dont =).
I don't wear it..I guess it's up to you..but a guy isn't going to like you just because you wear make-up...
All fourteen year olds don't NEED to wear makeup, other than what they need for a pimply face. The fact of the matter is, you're fourteen, and most girls your age are wearing makeup. But I truly admire you for not wearing it. That's true beauty.

Of course, teenage boys notice appearances first. I'm sure you're a gorgeous girl, but if you're looking to impress a teenager, I'd make yourself stand out. But nothing is better than personality. Put yourself out there. Be lab partners or something, as well.

    Hope I've helped!
i started wearing makeup when i was like 13.

    i LOVE makeup!

    sure start wearing it!

and ignore the girl below, makeup isn't to hide yourself, that's stupid.

    it's to enhance your beauty.

What organs, tissues,& cells make up the circulatory system?

Going with the general consensus the HEART, LUNGS, VEINS AND ARTERIES and CAPILLARIES

But if you go deeper, you have muscle cells in the heart. I the veins and arteries you have the elastic fibers and collagen.

when you breath air travels down the trachea to the bronchus, where it first enters the lung. From the bronchus, air goes through the bronchi, into the even smaller bronchioles and lastly into the alveoli. So there are some other parts of the lungs you can include. • Is foundation really necessary for a person with perfect skin?calling all make up addicts lol?

does it make the skin look better, should it be part of the make up routine

i am thinking of using foundation although i never did cuz i dint really feel the need

do u think i should now?

calling all make up addicts lolIs foundation really necessary for a person with perfect skin?calling all make up addicts lol?
If you have good to perfect skin, then I would definitely not wear foundation. I have been wearing makeup for years and I am a makeup addict. I have always had very good skin, but when I was younger I actually did wear foundation. I don't anymore, and it looks so much better. Foundation evens out your skin tone and can hide imperfections, but if you don't need it then don't use it. I would suggest using a concealer for under your eyes and possibly the crease of your nose or any other red spots, but I wouldn't buy a foundation. My beauty routine for my face consists of a good skin care regimen: washing, tone, and moisturizing twice every day. Make sure you do that and your skin will be kept clear. For face makeup I use: concealer for underneath my eyes, powder, bronzer, highlighter/illuminator, and blush. If you use these, your face will look much more natural then if you apply a foundation under it. And if you absolutely insist on using a foundation, ONLY use one with sheer coverage or even use a tinted moisturizer. My favorite place to shop for all of my makeup needs is Sephora. If you haven't heard of it, then I would stop by a store if you live near one or go to Sephora.com. They have a very wide range of products, great costumer service, and are just a great company in general!

Here is a link to view some products for your face on Sephora:

    http://www.sephora.com/browse/section.jh鈥?/a>

Just look on the left hand side and you will see all of the different categories you can choose from. Browse through their website and find something you like!

Hope this helps and take my advice: you are lucky to have good skin, so foundation is really not necessary for it =)Is foundation really necessary for a person with perfect skin?calling all make up addicts lol?
No one has ';perfect skin';. Foundation is used to even out skin tone, so that if there is any skin discoloration or uneven tones it will make them all match and give a nice clear complexion for makeup to be applied on. Foundation is an essential for nice looking makeup and skin. Just remember, put foundation on first...then concealer and then everything else!
Foundation does help even out the skin and make it look better.I wear it everyday. So I recommend wearing it. If you don't feel the need to, you could just put on Concealer where you need it. But if you do use foundation, use powder foundation not a liquid because it can look really cakey and gross after a couple of hours
If your skin is relatively flawless, just use a tinted moisturizer and cover up any imperfections with concealer. If you don't need foundation, don't use it.
well if you use a mineral powder foundation than you don't have to use liquid cause it's powder and liquid mixed. It's really great and not heavy at all.
dont do it!!!!!!!!!!! use mineral makeup if anything..its the healthiest for your skin

if u have perf skin dont use it

What exactly is stage make up?

The first and perhaps most obvious requirement for stage make-up is to enable the performer to alter the appearance of his/her natural features to more nearly match those expected of the character being played, ie. to alter his/her apparent age or racial characteristics etc. But this is in fact in many respects only a secondary requirement. Even when the actors own natural features are entirely germane to the part, make-up is still necessary to cope with the effects of stage lighting. Significant developments in the quality of stage lighting leading up to the Edwardian period meant that this latter requirement was more true then than ever before. Lime-lights in particular gave off a very harsh pure white light. The effect of strong lighting on the characters on the stage was to overwhelm the natural characteristics of the face, making the features and natural colouring completely disappear. If the actors were to appear as anything other than bland faced dolls then strong make-up was required to repaint the features larger and brighter to stand up to the glare. In this respect stage make-up was (and still is) very different from everyday cosmetic make-up, it is generally much heavier and under normal lighting conditions may look very garish, meretricious even. What exactly is stage make up?
    It's for the stage. Hahah

It is very very thick, and way more than usual.

Stage makeup is used to make eyes look more wide, cheeks more pink, and to cover all blemishes.

Stage makeup usually include thick, cakey face cream, heavy eyeliner, pink blush, black mascara, and the desired lipstick. What exactly is stage make up?
It's the makeup used for theatre. It is very heavy and caked on to prevent the actors from looking pale (the lights tend to wash you out a lot).

You usually use foundation that is a shade darker than your skintone and use it on your face, ears and neck (so you don't look...I don't know...weird).

Highlights and shadows are next. These help to define your facial features (which appear to be flattened out from the house). Unless you are doing corrective makeup, where you make certain features appear to be larger, smaller, etc., highlights go on the center of your chin, nose, and forehead, where light tends to hit your face from above. Shadows go where the light doesn't (jawline, temples, and the sides of the nose). Then it's powder, eyes (shadow, liner %26amp; mascara), blush and lips (liner and color), followed by another powdering. Girls: ALWAYS USE YOUR OWN MASCARA!! Guys: you usually won't need mascara or eyeshadow, so don't worry.

If you're in a production and don't know what to do, there's usually someone who can help you out. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it.
Stage make-up is pretty exaggerated make-up used when someone is going to be on stage. Stage lights tend to be really bright and white and will wash you out (i.e. make it difficult to see your features) so stage make-up pretty much exaggerates everything to make you easier to see. It can also make you look like someone else (change gender, age, species...you name it) through special effects make-up. They sell some great theatrical make-up here: http://www.bennye.com/

or you can get some really thick cover up, dark lipstick, powder, eyeliner and mascara....really cake it on...and use that. It isn't as good, but it works alright.
    Extremely THICK. Make-up.

If you use it, stay AWAY from greasepaint unless you REALLY must use it. Tho it is a ';perfector'; it can cause bad breakouts.

What are the best make up brushes?

I'm thinking of investing in make up brushes. What are the good brands, price range and availability in Malaysia? What are the best make up brushes?
I'd like you to try to mix different brands. MAC is great but not every single brush of them is all best.

    Try:

    Cheek %26amp; Face Brush: RMK

I think you can find RMK in Malaysia. It is Japanese brand. RMK beats the s*** out of MAC blush brush and powder brush. It is super super super ultra soft. No one can beat it. A must and A must try!

Foundation Brush: MAC187. Very versatile. Give you airbrushed finish as well.

Eye Shadow Brush: Shu Uemura. Their #10 is the best. Good for both creamy and powder eye shadow

    Contouring: MAC169

    Lip: Whatever brand will do.

What are some interesting make up tips for my eyes?

I have hazel eyes...What are some interesting make up tips for my eyes?
instead of using a multi-mascara with the volume boost(first coat )and the black mascara(second coat) its easier and better to use Vaseline.Use your index finger, and put a quarter amount of Vaseline as you would mascara so 25% Vaseline and 75% the mascara.

It will make your lashes fuller ,it'll separate your lashes from each other and it will look sexier.

The mascaras that have that added volume or 2 separate coatings usually expire very fast and you wouldn't even know it!

P.S DONT forget to curl your lashes!!!

    tip#2

lightly blow drying your eye lash curler (LIGHTLY)will act like a curling iron for your lashes!By warming up the eye lash curler you intensify your lashes. What are some interesting make up tips for my eyes?
use a couple of different colors. there's this opne company that does 3 colors in one so u put on a dark shade near the lid and keep adding lighter colors.

How can I spice up my woredrobe without shopping? Also make up tips with just using the basics.?

Here are rules I try to follow:

Less is more (simple outfit + accesories= perfect outfit that looks good but still comfy)

Wear what you feel confident in and rock it to the highest potientiential (i know sounds cheesy) but nothing is more attractive then confidence that's the hottest spice out there

finally wear what you want not what the red carpet offers when you think about it not EVERY celeb has the most amazing outfitsHow can I spice up my woredrobe without shopping? Also make up tips with just using the basics.?
usually when Im so tired of my wardrobe, I just take a few of my old and untouched clothes and renew them. you know like cutting my long skirt into a mini-skirt. or coloring my white blouse into pink. or cutting parts of my t-shirt to make it into a tank top or something like that.

AS for make up, im not that much of an expert(i prefer to play with my clothes and body, rather than to play with my face), but some thing I like to do if i want to look good without too much efforts are things like using my lip balm or lip gloss as an eyeshadow(natural), and put lipglos after my lipstick(again so it looks natural). How can I spice up my woredrobe without shopping? Also make up tips with just using the basics.?
There are a ton of websites out there that I have used to spice up my wardrobe, but really simple things like wearing layered shirts, or something in the back of your closet or dresser and wear it with maybe a new shirt. Buying a new shirt or two and pair of jeans then wering it with one of your older peices always makes the outfit look new a refreshed. make-up wise, for simple makes it the best. It's fun to play around with make-up and see what works best. I sometimes use blush for eyeshadow. Just experiemnt. It's fun.

  • Why is it the opposite for me when it comes to me, make-up, and acne?

I used to have really bad acne but when I started taking better care of my skin it improved. I still had a little, but nothing enough to really bother me. But when I break out, people always suggest to stop wearing make-up for a little while, but whenever I do this, my acne gets way worse. Does this happen to anyone else or is there a reason? Why is it the opposite for me when it comes to me, make-up, and acne?
I was told the same thing. The only thing that helped me was going to a laser skin center and getting some acne treatments done. I also had some microdermabrasions and chemical peels that really helped! Why is it the opposite for me when it comes to me, make-up, and acne?
th make up closes the pores so when u wash the make up off u r taking out the build up as well. people who wear make up then stop tend to wash their face less often. this may be your problem. i would suggest a good facial scrub or a doctor if the acne is that bad. u should wash your face at least twice a day and more often if u have greasy food, dirty work/school conditions, or if u put your hands on your face a lot. good luck

What is the best make-up line available at Sephora or Ulta?

I am looking for an all around make up line that can create an even Believable complextion as well as good eye liner, shadow etc..... any help ?

P.s. what are your thoughts on the line Make-up foreverWhat is the best make-up line available at Sephora or Ulta?
I haven't used Makeup forever, but it's used extensively in the theatre industry, so it's meant to be a bit more...dramatic.

I have a few products that I love: Bare Minerals/Escentuals foundations, powder color, warmth, glow, eyebrow colors and the like. I do also love their blushes. I have not yet really tried their eyeliners, but I have the stuff, so I'll try it.

I am hopelessly addicted to Stila Smudge Pots for eyeliner. They are great, thin, thick, dramatic, subtle, it looks great. There is a brush they recommend to use with it, and I highly recommend it. I thought it would only be good for a more dramatic line, but it's great for thick and thin.

Shu Uemura has the best eyelash curler and mascara, hands down. The curler is affordable ($16, I think) but the mascara is pricey ($30), but boy, it was worth every penny, I thought. Not at Sephora, a great mascara is Sonia Kashuk, carried by Target. It's cheap and great.

Ulta's brand is good and affordable. I've used their mascara, and I have sparse but long lashes, and it was a little goopy for me. If you have a thicker lash, this will probably be a good choice for you.

I recently bought a Nars lipcolor, and I love that, too. I did buy a Nars bronzer, and I never use it, it doesn't go on that well for me, whereas the Bare Escentuals warmth gives me the look I want with a little more sunkissed than the my-skin-is-too-pale-and-this-looks-ridic鈥?look I was getting with the Nars.

Honorable mention also goes to Urban Decay. I'm hopelessly addicted to their color ';Gash'; and have it in the lipgloss (a pot) and the nailpolish. Lots of fun makeup, more than something you can wear regularly.

Good luck! What is the best make-up line available at Sephora or Ulta?
Makeup forever is a good Paris based brand, nice colors and good brush selection. It is meant for professional use just like MAC. They actually have the same prices. MAC is more user friendly so if you like Makeup forever stuff then you'll love MAC.

    At sephora:

Complexion-Bare minerals or Nars liquid foundation or stuff from Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown

    Eyeliner - Urban decay

Eyeshadow - Nars, Urban Decay, Elf,

I can't really vouch for one reliable brand from Sephora. Most of the brands there have their specialties and strengths and weeknesses so in my opinion you really can't go straight one brand. I wanted to be a straight MAC user but I don't like their mascara and don't want to spend $15 on eyeliners so I use other brands that suit my skin and needs. You have to try. Do a patch test too on your inner arm and wait for 20 mins for a reaction. If the product color appears like what it is in its container, and it works, and it doesn't irritate your skin then its a match...go get it...ask for samples..test some of their stuff...thats the only way to know what product is best for you, your skin type and your budget.
Sephora and Ulta are two of my favorite stores!

Regarding the complexion, it depends on what amount of coverage you are seeking. My sister swears by Make-up Forever because it lasts a long time and gives heavy coverage and their products (eye, lips, face) really do last forever, it seems.

It really depends on your budget. Have you investigated Nars brand cosmetics? They are won-der-ful!!
Try bare minerals. They are a all natural line of make-up and they are made for every skin type. They have eye shadow, eye liner, blush, etc. Make- up forever is a good line.. I just like Bare minerals better.
Stila, Tarte, Bare Escentuals, and Benefit Cosmetics.

B: Boo Boo Zap, Galactic Shield (clear up pimples, and conceal them- FAST)

    BE: Bare Minerals

    T: Just about anything

S: This brand rocks! The tinted moisturizer, eye shadow, Smudge Pot, high-shine lipstick (lipgloss as a stick)...

Those are my faves and I've never tried Makeup Forever. I've saw it, but never tried any.
Urban Decay, Too Faced and Stila are brands that I have tried from Sephora. Also check out Sephora brand products too.
Smashbox is great, their liquid eyeliner is the best.

    And Hollywood swears by Nars.
A brand that's all-around that's found at Sephora is the Benefit brand. It has a very fat eyeliner pencil that works wonders and has a cream eyeshadow that works just for your skin color!

Make-up forever was actually created for performers for water ballet. Trust me, this make-up will stay on while you swim! But it's not found at all Sephora stores and this brand is pretty pricy. But if you're willing to spend a fortune, go for it!
