Definitely not a scavenger, probably an omnivore, it's such a mix like that, intense but beautiful in some ways! Food is fuel, so it runs off of... desire? Eating desire. Are we being literal here? At least a little? Or totally obscure and creative? In a more abstract sense it could run off of.. ellipses!... you know, like the motion ';during';.. kind of circular. What does it do... explodes, announces itself.. it's public! It's social and present because everyone near it realizes it's there. It's flashy and fashionable because it's easy to become aware of and is quite likeable to everyone. So it's environment would be some kind of up to date, exciting event or party.. haha this is going in such a crazy direction! Its prey would be... well lets say because it's strong-willed, it's prey would then be whatever would hold it back, cause it doesn't want to be held back... therefore its prey would be... timing! Or time... not sure if I'm thinking of the best word to narrow it down to but I'm talking about how some things need to be timed correctly or with a certain pattern for it to work. It's predator would be emotion maybe -- the pursuer. I think I got all the parts of your question, hope I helped get the ideas flowing!
