Giving us a quote from Ronaldo's coach is anything but impartial criticism especially coming from a man who has been voted by everyone as being the most animated, melodramatic coach in the world. Personally I love to watch the man but just don't think he's in the best position on this score to be critiquing anything other than Cristiano's acting skills. You know what I'd like to hear? cristiano ronaldo is not diving. havent you people seen the close ups? he is always getting trips by players and that is normal in soccer. it happens ALL THE TIME! people are just jeolous about ronaldo so they think they should talk crap about him but i personally think hes an awesome player that guy never gives up he gives the game 110%.

Portugal were give the ';Gift'; that is what penalties are a gift, Portugal could not score even when England were down a man...I must say I was happy Germany got 3rd Place....
If it was an English player and England had won everything would have been fair and the referee had made a good call.

I am reapeating what i said in another post, although i feel england was hard done by it was in fact the Holland match that stirred me up against portugal. It was appauling, and although there were errors on both sides, the portugese certainly were diving 2 for the price of 1.





My wife is from the far east, and doesnt really watch footbal, but when she was watching the holland match with me, she couldnt wait for portugal to lose.





Ronaldo was silly for coming barging in like that, it doesnt show good sportsmanship and in the replay it is OBVIOUS that rooney didnt do it on purpose, on top of the fact that (despite what he says) the ref gave the card for the push.





Search for rooney red card in yahoo, go to video and you will find a replay, it will take a few replays but watch his body, rooney is off balance and shifts his body both feet at the same time.
i think ronaldo isnt diving they take him down because they cant get da ball so down cums ronaldo and he is like lighten why woud he want to dive?
