Dose anyony have any tips for applying make-up?

I have never been a girly girl, because, well I could never afford makeup other than eyeliner. So yesterday I kind of splurged and bought foundation, a new lip color with gloss, and the covergirl exact eyelights mascara, liner and eyeshadow for hazel eyes.

Can anyone give me some tips about applying any of this kind of makeup.

btw I do know that the exact eyelights have instructions on it.Dose anyony have any tips for applying make-up?
Hi!

Ok,

if you have a duo, trio, or single eyeshadow. I'm guessing single. So, begin by lining your eyes. Close your eyes and gently hold it with your fingers (gently! Pull to hard, you will get premature wrinkles) until you have a taught smooth surface. Gently start from the middle of your upper lash line, and slowly move outwards. Then, begin from the inner corner areas of the eye and move over the line you just made. Remember, if you don't like your line, just start over. If your a new-bie it's ok.

Next, take either...

1. a makeup brush (if you don't hav, look below)

2. the sponge wand that SHOULD come with your product (i don't like using these, but if you perfer...)

3. your fingers (the easy makeup tool. please, i don't recommend a sponge wand, but if you don't gotta brush, use your fingers.)

Begin by saturating the color of the eyeshadow in your brush/spongewand/fingers and gently rub it across the lid.

If you have a duo, rub the lighter color across the lid, and the darker color up in your crease. The area where the little folds are...

If you have a trio, rub the lightest color across the lid, the darker across your crease, and the darkest, along the outer corners of your crease. Or, try using the darker along the lid, the darkest along your crease and the lightest in your inner corner and brow bone.

Now, take that Sponge wand or your fingers and lightly blend together the colors. Remember, keep the colors soft and light, only reapplying if you can't see them.

Now, mascara. You just bought the suckiest one. I'm sorry. Why? The exact eye lights has no sparkle in it. Instead, it's the clumpiest mascara. No worries! Trade it in for Cover Girl's Lash Blast Luxe Mascara. Lash Blast is one of drugstores most famous mascaras. The luxe one has the sparkles, while eye lights is not that great. Apply the mascara to your upper lashes. Don't apply to your lower ones, they may smudge into your dark circles.

apply a little gloss!

Now, if you still want to explore makeup I would try buying...

%26gt; a bronze eyeshadow. This looks good on any skin color just sweep it on your lids

%26gt; a makeup consultation at Nordstroms, Mac, or Sephora. Just to see what they suggest. Plus, at sephora it's free! (ask them to apply a bronze shadow)

%26gt; a lipstick (just for fun)Dose anyony have any tips for applying make-up?
