How do i keep my eye make up stay on longer?

i have oily skin and it makes sense if that's whats causing it to rub off, but how do i make it stay on longer so i don't have to keep reapplying?How do i keep my eye make up stay on longer?
Clinique makes a great eyeshadow base. It makes your eye makeup last until you take it off, and it comes in different shades to fit any skin tone. Primer is key and there's a whole bunch to choose from. There's Urban Decay's Primer Potion, Mac has a Prep %26amp; Prime but hardly anyone uses it. Most people either uses a MAC shade stick or a paint pot. I've also seen concealer used on more than one occasion.
Make sure you are using a base underneath your eyeshadow.. also .. they make Makeup Forever's ';Mist %26amp; Fix';.... i guess it's supposed to set the makeup.. i've personally never used it.. but i am planning on getting some because i've heard lots of good about it.
by applying foundation over your eye lids first you can help to keep the make up there longer. also the brand and quality of your makeup can affect this smudging greatly....
